Confessions from a Math-Art Collaboration

Examine a cross-disciplinary project involving mathematic functions and visual art. A pre-calculus teacher and art teacher will describe a PBL that explored line as both mathematic and artistic expression. Original student art was created with Desmos programmed line designs and watercolor techniques. Each teacher will present discipline-specific goals, along with project successes and challenges. Participants are invited to share their own PBL collaboration stories.
